PROJECT 2b - 
Wellness Center PLUS

We were required to design a wellness center with the targeted user of elderlies which was set in the last site analysis project and self development as the PLUS component. My concept was openness, natural and connecting. The idea of openness is to connect the wellness center to the surrounding context of vegetations and natural elements, while the concept of natural is to integrating the existing site condition such as wind, sunlight and softscapes into the design by implementing natural ventilation and natural lighting. Other than that, the idea of connecting is to connect the community together by bringing their daily activities and daily chores into the wellness center as the local community, mainly of retirees and elderlies usually would stay at home, taking care of their grandchildren and doing their house chores.
