Group Assignment
As a group, we were required to research and analyze on three case studies of heritage conservation projects, 1 local project and 3 international project. One of the international project should be a postmodern building. The chosen buildings are Suffolk House in Penang, Kondo of Horyu-ji Temple, Japan, Xiaguan Catholic Church, China and 105-123 St Mark's Road, London. After analyzing these projects, we were required to present the analyzed information that focuses on the conservation methods, theories and practices and give an overall conclusion.






























Individual Assignment
Individually, we were required to focus our study on one building from the group project and express our thoughts on appreciation, awareness and importance of architectural heritage and conservation through one of the 7 lamps of Architecture principles. The chosen lamp for my study was Lamp of Memory.
